This Agreement gives you certain benefits, rights and obligations as follows:

This agreement provides unlimited access to the Publications and Services of the Pennsylvania Legislative Services, LLC (“PLS”) websites identified on the front of this Agreement for an individual user, with a unique User ID. You may not share your User ID. Access of the PLS website via any automated process such as scripts or “bots” is prohibited.

The copyrighted information contained on the PLS website as well as any PLS Publications is for your personal, non-commercial, internal use only. You may not syndicate, republish, reproduce, license or redistribute any information to any third party, for any purpose, without prior written consent of PLS to purchase the rights to make or forward additional copies.  You also may not decompile or reverse engineer any part of the site or publications whether as a stand-alone product or in conjunction with other data or information. Additionally, you may not frame any of the content of the site or publications, or incorporate into another website or other service, any material, content or intellectual property belonging to PLS. You acknowledge that all proprietary rights in the information received shall remain the property of either PLS or its providers of information.

Neither PLS nor any providers of information through the service make any warranties, express or otherwise implied, as to the accuracy of any information or the results to be obtained from use of such information, including without limitation any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

Neither PLS nor any of its providers of information shall have any liability for the completeness, timeliness or accuracy of the information contained on the PLS website.  None of the foregoing parties shall be liable to any third-party claims or losses of any nature, including but not limited to, lost profits, punitive or consequential damages.  You agree to hold PLS harmless against any claims or legal action arising from your utilization of or reliance on the services or information provided under this Agreement.

These Terms and Conditions will continue for the period indicated on this Agreement, unless earlier terminated by PLS.  PLS reserves the right to terminate the Agreement at any time. Upon termination by PLS, PLS will refund to you the pro rata portion of your fee, unless termination was due to a violation of PLS’ terms and conditions. You may not terminate this Agreement prior to its expiration.

The fees provided for in this Agreement are exclusive of any state or local sales, use, personal property taxes or taxes of a similar nature.  Any such taxes that may be applicable are your obligation.  Any unpaid balance shall accrue interest at 2% per month until paid.  In the event PLS must initiate any legal action to collect monies due under this agreement, then in addition to the amount due, PLS shall be entitled to interest, attorney fees & costs and any other relief the court deems appropriate.

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. This Agreement and the rights and obligations of both parties shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
